Samos is Greece’s eight largest island and it belongs to the North-eastern Aegean group of Greek islands. Samos is also historically rich and has UNESCO World Heritage listed sites and it is also the birthplace the famous mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras and the great ancient astronomer Aristarchus.
